How the three modes work

oz / gal

For labels that say "mix X oz per gallon of water." product = rate × tank gallons. A 1.5 oz/gal rate in a 4 gal backpack is 6 fl oz.

oz / 1,000 sq ft

For broadcast, lawn, and perimeter work. product = area ÷ 1,000 × rate, and the water needed is area ÷ 1,000 × spray volume. If that water exceeds one tank, the result shows how many loads to mix and what goes in each.

% solution

For termite and anything specified as a finished concentration. product fl oz = (desired % ÷ AI %) × 128 × tank gallons. A 0.5% finished solution from a 21.4% product in a 100 gal tank is about 299 fl oz.
