Effective October 22, 2026.
Y2K Messenger ("the app") is an independent client for third-party chat servers. By using it you agree to these terms.
You must be 18 or older to use the app.
The app connects to servers chosen by you. Each server has its own operator, rules and privacy practices, and your use of a server is governed by that operator's terms. We do not run, moderate or control any server, and we are not responsible for content or conduct on them.
Do not use the app to harass, threaten or abuse anyone, to send unlawful content, or to interfere with a server. Server operators may suspend screen names that break their rules.
The app lets you control who can contact you (for accounts without an existing server privacy setting it requests "Allow only people on my Buddy List"; the Privacy screen shows which setting the server accepted), block any screen name on the server, mask offensive language on your phone, and report a user from the app: that composes an email to us that you send. We review abuse reports. This inbox is not monitored continuously. See Report abuse.
The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Messages on community servers are generally not encrypted. We are not liable for lost messages, downtime of any server, or any damages arising from use of the app, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
