Build a table. Then play it.
A pinball construction set for iPhone and iPad, in the six colors of 1982.
The workbench: your table on the left, the parts bin and tools on the right.
Free for iPhone & iPad
PLAY seven tables out of the box
Seven stock tables in the original's style, from a gentle First Machine to Nightmare, plus two more that gold unlocks. Pick your ball speed from EASY to EXPERT and earn up to double score for the faster ones. Bronze, silver and gold goals on every table, Game Center leaderboards and 18 achievements, three balls, end-of-ball bonus, nudge and tilt. Tap and hold the ball to pull the plunger.
DAILY a new machine every day
Daily Machine: a new table every day, the same for everyone. Your first finished game is your score; keep a streak going, and keep any machine you like in My Tables. Weekly Cup: one stock table with a twist, Monday to Sunday, best score of the week. Arcade Run: table after table until the balls run out, and the balls carry over. Game Center boards for all three.
BUILD the parts bin
Drop parts from the bin onto the table: flippers, bumpers, slingshots, drop-target banks, stand-up targets, rollovers, spinners, one-way gates, and walls you draw point by point as lines or closed shapes. The world dials set gravity, speed, kick and bounce. Save to My Tables and play it with the same physics as the stock tables.
SHARE tables by code
Any table you build becomes a code. Show it; a friend points their iPhone camera at it, or you send the link, and it is theirs to play. Send a score to beat along with it. Nothing is uploaded anywhere and no account is needed: the whole table rides inside the code.
SUPPORT
Stuck ball? Questions, bug reports, and tables you are proud of:
Include your device model and iOS version, and the VERSION line from Settings.
- No sound? Check the silent switch on the side of your iPhone; the square waves respect it. Sound can also be toggled in Settings.
- Lost a table? Tables are saved on your device. Deleting the app deletes them, so share the ones you love as a link first.
- Ball passes through a wall? Tell us the table and where. Physics bugs get fixed fast.
PRIVACY POLICY
Effective October 14, 2026
The short version: the app sends anonymous play statistics, and you can turn them off. Nothing that identifies you ever leaves the machine.
Pinball Workshop ("the app") is a fully offline game:
- Anonymous play statistics. The app sends a small number of usage events, such as app opened, table played, how a game ended, or editor opened, to TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service. Each event carries a random per-install identifier that is hashed on your device before it is sent and cannot be linked to you. No name, email, location, contacts, or advertising identifier is ever collected.
- You can turn it off. Settings → Share Usage Data. When it is off, nothing is sent.
- Offline play. The game runs entirely on your device; the only network use is those statistics, and the game works the same without a connection.
- Local saves only. Your tables, progress, and settings are stored only on your device and are removed if you delete the app.
- Sharing is yours. A shared table is encoded into the link itself; nothing is uploaded to us. The link goes wherever you send it through the standard iOS share sheet, and nowhere else.
- Game Center. If you use Game Center leaderboards or achievements, Apple handles them under Apple's privacy policy. The app never sees your Game Center identity.
- No ads, no tracking SDKs. The app contains no advertising and no cross-app tracking libraries. TelemetryDeck is the only analytics SDK.
- No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log into.
- Purchases. If an optional one-time purchase is ever offered, it is handled entirely by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. The app records only whether it is owned, on your device, and sends one anonymous "purchase completed" event to TelemetryDeck. No receipt, price, or payment detail ever reaches us.
- App Store reviews. The app may occasionally ask if you'd like to rate it, using Apple's built-in review prompt. Apple handles that interaction under its own privacy policy.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this page with a new effective date.

CREDITS and licenses
Pinball Workshop is a new program, written from scratch for iPhone and iPad. It is inspired by Bill Budge's 1982 Pinball Construction Set, the first game that let you build your own. Budge released the original Apple II and Atari 800 source code under the MIT License in 2013; we studied it as a design reference for the parts bin and the world sliders. No code from it ships in this app. The MIT notice is reproduced here with thanks:
