No. The app is a calculation aid for licensed HVAC professionals. Always follow the equipment manufacturer's charging procedure and applicable codes. A disclaimer to this effect appears on every calculated result.
Saved calculations are stored locally on your device and do not sync across devices. Exported PDF reports are yours to keep regardless of which device generated them.

A2L Safe Charge does not collect personal data itself. The free version shows ads via Google AdMob, which may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve those ads. No account or email is ever required.
The app itself does not collect, transmit, or store personal information about you. Specifically, A2L Safe Charge:
The free version displays advertisements via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, app interaction data, and general location (country/region) to deliver and measure ads. See Google's advertising privacy policy at policies.google.com/technologies/ads for details.
On iOS you will be asked once, via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, whether to allow tracking for personalized ads. Declining does not limit any feature — ads are simply non-personalized. Users in the EEA/UK are shown a consent form before any ads are served.
The app stores the following data locally on your device only:
This data never leaves your device. It is not synced to any server or cloud service operated by us. Standard iOS device backups (iCloud, iTunes) may include this data as part of your device backup. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data.
PDF reports are generated entirely on your device. No data is sent to any server to generate reports. When you share a PDF, sharing is handled by the native iOS share sheet — we have no visibility into how or with whom you share reports.
The app uses Google AdMob to display ads in the free version, and RevenueCat to process the optional Pro purchase. RevenueCat only handles purchase receipts and never sees your calculation data. We do not share data with any other advertising networks, analytics services, or data brokers.
The app is designed for licensed HVAC professionals and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads served via AdMob are configured to comply with applicable children's privacy regulations.
